All members of the NDPC will be expected to abide by these standards to help preserve the pike stocks on the Broads.
All members will use/have available when pike fishing while using the club facilities:
- 42” triangular or 30” round landing net with knotless mesh.
- A large unhooking mat (39”x19” minimum) or a device similar to the ‘sladle’.
- 10” long forceps or pliers
- 10” hook cutters
- Recommended as a minimum that 15lb monofilament line or 30lb braid (45lb is better) is used.
- 18” wire trace of at least 28lb breaking strain is used.
